President Malloy advises that the Executive Boards from the AFDNC and SCFDOA are currently organizing a trip to Albany. The purpose of the trip is to distribute pre-printed information pertaining to the consolidation issue to the Senate and Assembly.
The Albany trip is scheduled for March 16th. We are trying to have a good turnout so please inform your departments of the date. A more detailed agenda will follow shortly.

As you may or may not know, the Assembly/Senate Bill which we fought to stop has passed in both the NYS Assembly and NYS Senate. This does not mean we will back down and stop fighting. We now need to get our message to Governor Patterson and urge him to not sign the bill.
